  First of all, we're an Asian family. And there's this little theory floating around somewhere that Asian might prefer finer cake with more moisture because apparently we tend to secrete less saliva. Which is why we find our cake a little rougher than we would like.

  That aside, I also have to commend this bakery in delivering a fresh, and creamy cake. The whole side of the cake was dusted with coconut flakes so there's a nice faint coconut aroma and 2 layers of passion fruit cream sandwiched inside the cake. Although, I've also noticed that I can't find any trace of the white chocolate mousse or coconut syrup amongst the layer, nor do I taste vanilla in the cream. So I'm a little skeptical as to whether or not the description on their website is up to date (or maybe they simply forgot a couple of ingredients).

  This should be a must go place. Ellie and her crew have so much love for what they do and it is clear that they want to share it! The environment is clean, cute and friendly. My wife and I love the London fog cake, and the smiles there make it an all around great place to have coffee, or nurse a hangover. Thanks!!!

  I went to my niece's birthday party and had some of the cake. Immediately after I went to my brother to ask where he'd gotten the cake, and it was from here!! It was the best chocolate cake I've ever had in my life. It was so rich and creamy and when I say I had three slices, I say it without any shame.

  So that's my experience with Cadeaux Bakery. A few misinformation here and there (or maybe missing ingredients from the cake). A half decent cake. In short, if you're thinking of purchasing cake from this location, I'd suggest you drop by for a taste test first.
