  She stood TALKING to another employee while my beer sat on the counter. I asked another passing server to please bring me my beer and water, she happily did.

  If you're looking for a solid all-rounder menu of standard appies to fresh salads, to diverse mains, this place delivers. Whether it's Friday night after work drinks, Tuesday night after show appies, Thursday evening dinner with the family, this place delivers. Not pretentious, great atmosphere, good value for money and tasty food and drink.

  Met a few new friends here today. From the friendly greeting when I entered the restaurant, to the goodbye, everything was great! I was brought a glass of water and a menu soon as I sat down down. The food was prepared much faster than I anticipated, and was delicious. Service was so prompt. The waitresses certainly outdid themselves. Overally, I had a fantastic time.

  The Original Joe's restaurant is near the Vancouver City Hall. It is at the south west corner of Broadway and Cambie intersection, on the second floor. I have been at this restaurant a few times as it is easy to reach by transit. They have a good menu with plenty of choices for snacks, light meals and main dishes. The burgers are really good and tasty, and the restaurant menu points out that the meat is free of antibiotics and additives, which is good to know.

  The restaurant has several choices of beer. I had a Fat Tug IPA, that was the special that day, with my food and it went well with my burger. Also, you get two side items with the burger. You can choose fries and or vegetables.

  A great local - good happy hour and drink specials. Always surprisingly friendly service. Great place to catch a game or play some pool. I only wish they had more dark beer on tap... nudge nudge...
