  This is a lovely city run cemetery, a tranquil spot with lush trees and mountain views in the middle of the city. They have an app to locate the exact location of family graves. Many Vancouver pioneer families are buried here. Paved walkways for strolling.

  A VERY proud, private area for fallen Veterans, also very well kept.

  The cemetery is quite nice and we saw the celebration hall. It's too bad we couldn't get the date we wanted for the memorial service. But staff was pleasant and helpful.

  I spent over five hours in the Horne Section photographing headstones and during that time observed at least 12 dogs running freely amongst the graves. I don't have a real issue with the dogs frolicking over the graves but I am appalled that owners allow their dogs to defecate on the graves and do not pick up the waste! Disrespectful slobs.

  It is a nice cemetery where my sister was laid to rest. I visit her columbaria almost every week and bring a bunch of flowers. Most often, when I come back the next week, the flowers are in another columbaria! The residents might be dead, but the flowers come alive!
