    Beware the VALUE FLEX mortgage! Can't refinance with anyone else until you sell your home or the end of the mortgage term. When I tried to refinance with another lender, MCAP just kept ignoring the payout statement requests instead of responding and providing an explanation as to why there wouldn't be a payout statement. Once our term is up, I will NEVER use MCAP again.

    Go to every other mortgage company. These guys are rude. They will find a way or another to steal your money

    Even our broker commented on what a joke MCAP has become. "Yes, they are a joke these days." nothing like hearing that from a professional that has been dealing with them. Worst experience ever.

    If I could rate them lower then a 1 I would, less then a zero would be the rating. Beware...My advice is to stay away from MCAP. Once they have their hooks in you they will take advantage of you. Be sure to read the fine print. They have a clause within some of their products which will handcuff you. They take weeks to months what it takes other financial institutions to do in days. Once they have you their follow up or renewal/refinance rates will be brutal in comparison to others. Common sense does not apply within their processes and lots of mistakes which they do not take ownership for.
