  I purchased a beautiful necklace which online had the description of a gold filled necklace. As nothing about gold plated was stated, this led me to believe that the bezel around the jewels was also gold filled. However, after wearing the necklace only a couple of times and keeping it in a sealed plastic bag it started to tarnish. When I emailed the company about it, I was advised that the bezel was gold plated and not gold filled. At $190 for the necklace I was hoping for better quality. No replacement etc was offered.

  I have visited the studio twice, bought her jewelry online and at a local store. The jewelry is beautiful, great quality and I love that it is locally hand made. I met Leah at a trunk show and was impressed by her warmth and genuine interest to connect and serve her customers. My experience has been Leah and her staff are helpful, patient and professional. Thank you for the positive experiences and lovely jewelry.

  While I love the designs of this jeweller, I have to question the quality of the product. After buying a ring, I was surprised how quickly the gold faded off the ring (after only 5 months of intermittent wear, as I don’t wear rings often). This was beyond normal wear and tear. I was further surprised and disappointed by the lack of help and support provided by the customer care team, with their resolution being that I enjoy the two tone colour my ring was taking on (if I had wanted a two tone ring, I would have bought one). I find it hard to support a product that will not maintain its initial appearance for more than 5 months, even with proper care. I feel that it is not unreasonable expectation that the jewelry should last more than 5 months. I certainly won’t be purchasing any more of this product, and I will ensure that independent retailers offering any of these products are aware of the lack of customer service provided by the company.

  I have the same concern as was expressed in another review. While the products are beautiful, they are not durable nor does the company provide reasonable customer support. A rose gold plated ring we purchased began to wear after being worn carefully twice. The plating is thinning and the tarnished silver is showing through. The ring cost more than $100 but is wearing like it was purchased from a bubble gum machine. Unfortunately, although we love the designs, we won't be purchasing any more Leah Alexandra jewelry.

  On each of the past three days, I have purchased a silver Leah Alexandra bracelets. I'm very petite, with unbelievably slender wrists, and have never been able to avail myself of the stacked bracelet look; everything was so large it would fall off. But many of Leah's bracelets are adjustable, and they are so delicate. I bought the first (a simple band) on a Thursday and loved it so much that I visited another store nearer to me on a Friday and purchased the second (with a stone). Then I visited her site and, oh, what a treasure trove of lovely creations. I coveted the beaded cuff, so returned to the 2nd store on Saturday and purchased it to finish off my silver trio. I'd just like to say thank you for artistry, the delicacy and the pricing - all exceptional. You have a new fan.
