  I have stayed in the Ganville Island hotel several times in the past and found the rooms satisfactory. The restaurant is pleasant, beautiful view, good food and service. However, the most recent experience with the hotel has been an ongoing nightmare. I don't expect to be staying there in the future and we are regular visitors to Vancouver. The management of the hotel is very unpleasant to deal with and, in fact, they will tell you one thing at one time and then forget altogether that they said it the next day. get everything in writing! This hotel not only lost my business but my respect as well.

  Very nice room. Quiet floor, didn't hear a peep from anyone. My room had a nice view out to the water. Lots of usb ports for charging. Wifi was great and free. Downsides. The faucet was leaking from its base a bit, all of the lights in the room didn't have wall switches so you have to walk around to each light and turn them off. The parking lot was a bit confusing.

  Good value for money, clean, updated. Great restaurant, good bar, gym with sauna and huge hot tub. Right on Granville Island with easy access via the ferries to downtown, Yale town, science world.

  The room westayed in was small but very comfortable. Service was excellent and the hotel restaurant was very tasty. Would definitely stay here again.

  We've been heteany times. The last visit, we had dinner in the lounge area on a quiet Sunday evening. The food was great, as usual, but the service was terrible. Our waiter forgot to take our food order, then disappeared for awhile. We flagged down a waitress who was happy to help. Our food took over 45 minutes to arrive, we saw our waiter around but he never came by our table. Our meal's were brought out by the manager for some reason. I'm more understanding when a.place is busy, but it was 90% empty at the time. This was not the norm, maybe avoid the lounge if there's only one person working it.
