For people on a budget. Very well maintained simple and cozy rooms. Cafe on site with good food. Very friendly staff. They offer medical rates for people with appointments at VGH.

Note: Being a regular with Carlson/Radisson, I redeemed my loyalty points against my 3 night stay at the Park Inn in Vancouver.

Redeeming point is that the staff were always very welcoming and helpful.

The room itself is pretty worn down and used, and low quality overall. The bathroom door doesn't close to the top, the curtains are worn and plastic-y.

Nice clean rooms. Stylish and cheap. They do a good job of making cheap look stylish. If you can, request a room that faces north. The view is incredible from above the 3rd or 4th floor. You can see all of downtown and the mountains beyond. One of the best views in the city if you want to stay outside of downtown and see downtown as the view. Beds were comfy too. The restaurant has no windows, which is a bit weird.

Basic room but updated, clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is only one block away from Vancouver General and gives hospital rates of you have to take someone there. Tim's right across the street and several very good restaurants within a block. Pet friendly. Would be very happy to stay there again.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel for your stay in Vancouver, unless you have someone staying at the hospital. In which case it's convenient since right next door.

Sadly, of all of their hotels I've stayed at, this was probably the worst.

When we arrived in our room, the window was left open and it was freezing. The heating unit is an extremely loud unit, meaning that overnight you need to choose between peace/silence or heat.

Decent hotel. Essentially get what you expect from a 3 star hotel. Card key didn't work right away, seemed to be an issue with a number of people. Service is great, rooms are clean. The market restaurant downstairs is mediocre at best but there are great restaurants around. Be careful ordering a cab from there...waited 30 min for one. Better off hailing one from the curb outside.
