always eerie. good size theater. new seats. I only go if I have to. I wonder if it has ghosts...

Very good single-screen cinema. It used to be independently owned until it transfered ownership to Cineplex. It had a loyal adult audience before and it hasn't lost touch since. Plays the more obscure or more serious movies most multiplex cinemas won't show. Even after Cineplex bought it.

Don't trust the website! We planned our week around the Saturday morning family favourite, and my son was really looking forward to seeing Captain Underpants. We told him if he behaved in school for the week, we'd treat him to the movie. When we arrived, we were shocked to learn that they changed the movie, and didn't bother to update their website. I mentioned this to the manager, and she said the website is not reliable. Not an appropriate response. No responsibility taken, and no apology offered.

Theyre doing this new thing where the cashier is gone and instead the old ladies have to use a machine to get in, which results in lines so long and slow you miss the first few minutes of the movie. Other than that it's the last of the neighborhood movie houses. They sold out to Cineplex a few years ago so it's pretty corporate, but they usually bring in more arty films.

Great place to go that's not in downtown. I like the size of it and the great seats. Service was acceptable.

The movie they did show came on a half hour late due to technical difficulties. The technical difficulties didn't bother me, but did rub a bit of salt in the wound.
