This museum has a wide range of selection of authentic, artistic and unique items basically from first nation people. It's better to plan for a 2-3 hour visit, even though the museum is not incredibly large. The descriptions of different items and processes are very interesting and easy to read. They have an online system, so you can look for items in one specific region (or city). Admission is $18 for adults. I find it reasonable.

This museum is one of the few things I actually miss about Vancouver! You could literally spend hours going through the place and not get bored! If I were to ever come back to Vancouver, this would probably be my one and only stop!

The extent of the native art and array of carving is quite amazing. It has Indigenous art from all around the globe but specialises as you would expect on North America. Really well presented and worht the visit. The Museum is located within the campus of the University and we took the local bus from downtown and it was a very pleasant 20 min trip

Parking is super expensive so consider public transit when travelling to the museum.

I recommend it to everyone. The native art is spendid. We also had lunch here: service was nice and quick, food was good The gift shop is full of wonderful choices. Don't miss walking around to the back side, which is an amazing piece of architecture, with more remarkable carvings on display.

We had a great time at this museum. We enjoyed the standing Totems and Indigenous Art/Artifacts displayed. Lots of rooms to explore at your own pace. And they're collection on display, rather than in storage, was amazing.
