  I was buying my stuff here for 5 month but one time that the Indian security guy that chased me, after that I never came back again.

  We love shopping at Safeway but this store is very disorganized. For instance, don't look for pancake mix and syrup in the baking isle because it is in the bakery. Also, cheeses and sausages are both in two places and with different items. Don't waste your time here. Go to the one on Oak and King Edward where things are much more logically organised.

  Pretty good Safeway. Cheese selection is a bit lacking. Had a lovely run it with a rat once too. Quite a lovely little guy, We made some prolonged eye contact, acknowledging each other as a couple of hungry mammals before parting ways. Live long little rat dood

  I always buy cigarettes from Safeway in Oakridge mall, the other day I noticed that they charged me more than normal(normal 11.75 and that day 14.59 ) I asked and they said that it had changed but I bought another box of the same cigarettes and it was same price as before (11.75), so I asked them at the beginning and they tried to let me believe that because I bought something else with my cigarettes but I didn't buy anything else but cigarettes, same as the receipt showed and when I showed her again the receipt and it was the same item number but different price she said come tomorrow to talk with someone in charge and I went to the store again and since I came I guess she knew I came before, so she said that it was a system problem.. I started to asked for my money back and she ended up her talk saying there is nothing I can do for you... I always buy my things from there and I believe I'm going to change to buy my things from that store and as well check my receipts again even they can do nothing for any mistakes their system experience as they said, perhaps someone is gonna care for my experience. Or maybe that happened to me just because I’m foreigner.

  The staff are excellent. The quality is pretty good, not as much selection as the larger grocery stores, but has most things your average person needs. Prices are in the middle between Superstore and SaveOn.

  Q: That happen just for the cigarettes or also for all the other products this store sell, because I’ve never check my receipts before, except that time when I noticed the price of my cigarettes was so high.
