Wish I had looked through these reviews before wasting my time and money. I had a terrible experience booking my honeymoon with Peggy Paterson and CWT's vendor GoWay Travel. It started off great but a week after placing my deposit for the package that fit our budget and specifications, I was told that it is no longer available. They took my money but did not provide what was supposed to be locked down. After giving her the deposit I asked her if I was safe to book my flights around the "secured" dates and she said yes. She knew I'd be booking the flights separately through my credit card rewards program. A week after the deposit being taken from my Visa and having booked my flights, I received a call saying that the package is not available. They gave me 2 options, either I pay an extra $800 for a slightly better package or I change my hotel to one that was not even comparable to what we had agreed on. At this point my flight would have cost me a fortune to change and I wasn't interested in going with a worse hotel for my honeymoon so I had no choice to pay the extra $800. She blamed it on GoWay Travel who was the middle man and they blamed CWT. I found GoWay's number and asked their agent for an explanation but she forwarded me to her manager who told me that I'm "not allowed to talk to her". In the end I was only able to fight for a $200 excursion from GoWay as compensation. As a result of that I ended up paying an extra $600 and was stressed out fighting with these 2 companies right up until I flew out for my honeymoon. I would avoid using both of these companies now.

I asked to try 3 star hotels for a lower price 3 weeks ago.I receive an e mail last Friday saying she will get back to me Monday. Here we are the following Friday and no word, I leave on Thursday. Can you say STRESSED OUT??? I called two weeks ago to talk to the manager to findout if this is normal operations. He /She would not call me back. Another agent called & said she would look into it.She said the manager does not deal with these issues. Seems to me the problems start at the top & flows all the way down!

She then gets the quote two weeks later for $6880.00 now. Because I'm wanting to use my Avion points to pay for this I have to deal with this outfit.

If you are planning a trip, make sure to go somewhere else to book it. The women at this location are so unbelievably rude and condescending, it makes me wonder how they stay in business. Those women should definitely find a new line of work, it's made them bitter.

When I finally received a quote for hotels it was for $9000.00. I went online and booked the same hotel rooms for the same dates, and got a quote for $5000.00 cdn taxes in. She says well we have to deal with certain wholesalers, I say wholesale is $4000.00 more? Doesn't sound very wholesale.

I gave them the Itinerary dates and cities I wanted & let them know I am flexible. No tours I say.First thing she does is send me tour options.

They may be fine for a one week all inclusive or a tour, but if you actually want to travel go elsewhere, like Expedia or Travelocity

If I could give a zero I would. My family, friends and I have used Carlson Wagonlit forever but this branch is a nightmare to say the least. I have never experience such an unprofessional, unorganized and rude business exchange in my life. Please avoid at all costs or it will end up costing you money and stress.
