  I have stayed at Carey 3 or 4 times during the summer while attending classes at Regent College. It is clean, quiet, peaceful and within walking distance of all things UBC. I'll definitely plan on coming back!

  We attended Psalms for All Ages, part I and found it informative and interesting. The Worship in the morning was a real learning experience and the speaker passed on insights to help us prepare our Psalm reading for Worship. I am looking for to the next one on Feb. 22nd.

  Good value: The rooms are no-frills, there is a self check-in system for after hours, and there is a reasonable breakfast available (opt-in) that is very convenient.

  I was asked to speak at a conference hosted by a non-profit at Carey. I had no idea people could rent and host seminars, retreats, or conferences there. They have an on premise caterer and I now know of a place to send friends visiting Vancouver that can stay at their short stay suites. The rates are great and there's super affordable all day parking if I ever need to visit UBC. I got a tour of the rooms and apartments and some of the views are just breathtaking. Love this place for many reasons. It's walking distance from Spanish Banks, my favourite blackberry picking area with the best view of English Bay, I could play tourist during the summer and enjoy the gardens and museums on UBC. If I have friends getting married at Cecil Green, I would suggest Carey as the place to stay (for their out of town relatives and guests).

  My husband and I took advantage of the available accommodation. It was comfortable and functional. The room was quiet and clean and most of all affordable. We plan to return for this conference.
