  We live in Edmonton, so we had to get on the plane to get there. Our appointment was for 12 pm and got there at 9 am. We needed a police clearance certificate for my mom for her sponsorship file. They solved our problem right away at 9 am. We got the certificate on the place. I also needed to renew my Romanian passport and they offered me the opportunity to do it on the same day but I couldn't done it as I did not have all the papers we me (birth certificate, marriage certificate etc...). Great people, very, very accommodating, polite and helpful!

  If you call and they say you don't need one, make one anyway. Depinde cat de busy sunt in ziua cand mergeti riscati sa va trimita acasa.

  Sa fiti pregatiti cu rabdare. Dureaza mult si complainuesc la fiecare pas. Ei iti fac un favor ca te ajuta cu actele de care aveti nevoie, nu ca ii platiti bani frumosi ( doar cash ).

It was my first visit to the Romanian Consulate in Vancouver, but I'm proud to say that it felt very good to say "Buna ziua" and "Multumesc" to such a wonderful team! All the best!
