  The dsrk hot chocolate was good and not too sweet but I'd say not dark enough.

  Wow! I took my girlfriend here for a nice meal, on the advice of a local. I had the ratatouille, and it was amazing! The atmosphere is very nice too. We had a great time.

  Both meals were absolutely amazing. The lamb was the best I have ever had and I had a piece of the steak which was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten.

  Came back after a wonderful experience at Chambar for Dine Out last year. Arrived early for Dine Out Vancouver. 4 people. Was unaware until a couple of days before when received a text that the reservation was for only 1.5 hours. Food was good, except my coconut dessert was ordinary and 2 people had the Arctic Char which, although delicious, was lukewarm at best, apparently.

  The biggest problem was how rushed it was and the server we had. Both appetizer and main courses, other diners’ plates were lifted before I was finished my meal and main course for my dining companions was served while I was still eating my appetizer. I was not the fastest eater at the table but could not be considered unreasonably slow. The second I finished my appetizer, my plate was ripped from under me and my main course served. I had the lamb shank so there’s a fair bit of work to do in eating it to avoid fat etc (which is normal). Plates again were lifted while I was still eating and right over my head....the others at the table were shocked and angered at how it was done by the waiter. We were not offered any coffee with dessert...we had to call another server over to ask. One of our party made a mistake while paying her bill with the machine and had to redo it and, even with her apology, the waiter hovered over her impatiently. He came across like one of those wait staff who is barely tolerating all of you. Not sure if some of the pace of the meal is the fault of the kitchen but the whole thing was handled very badly. Walked away feeling too full from eating so fast. All in all we were all extremely disappointed and vowed not to come back. Lots of other good restaurants in Vancouver!

  Brunch is delicious. Waffles are tasty. The steak I had, while small, had a great smoky taste!
